1. Click on Admin Settings

  2. Click on the Attributes Section.

  3. Select the Asset Type you wish to add an attribute to.

  4. Select the Hierarchy you wish to add an attribute to. The most common hierarchy is 'Asset'.

  5. Click on the Add Attributes button

  6. Fill out the Add Attribute Form

    Asset Type
    Select the asset type the attribute belongs to.

    Asset Hierarchy
    Select the asset hierarchy the attribute falls under.

    Attribute ID
    Provide an unique identifier for the attribute.

    Attribute Name
    Provide a display name for the attribute.

    Data Types
    Single Line Text – A text field that does not allow line breaks. Text will be shown in a single line. You can define the characters limit and unit. 

    Multiple Line Text – A text field that allows line breaks. Text can be shown in multiple lines. 

    Integer – A numeric field that does not allow decimals. You can define the number of digits, unit, and min/max value for the attribute. 

    Numeric – A numeric field that allows decimals. You can define the number of digits, number of decimal places, and min/max value for the attribute.

    Lookup – Once a Lookup Attribute is created, you can add Lookup Parameters.

    Checkbox – A field that allows option to check Yes or No.

    Date – A field for Date, integrated with calendar feature

    Description (optional)
    Provide a brief description about the field.

  7. Click Finish to create the agency field.
